Roman Gubarev acknowledged his guilt of mass murder in Stavropol

According to the data of investigation, two suspects of murder of Vladimir Slizaev under the alias of Khan and seven more persons on January, 21, have been established.

According to Vladimir Markin, official representative of Prosecutor's committee of inquiry, Roman Gubarev, Slizaev’s intimate friend, acknowledged his guilt of the murder.

On January, 21, dead bodies of five people, five men and three women, were found with gunshot wounds in a garage of one of the private houses in Stavropol. Vladimir Slizaev, owner of the house, and members of his family were killed. An eight-year-old boy and a newborn girl survived. It became known later that Roman Gubarev who had worked as Slizaev’s driver was suspected of the crime. On January, 28, Lenin court arrested Gubarev.

According to the investigation’s data, after killing Slizaev Gubarev and his partner stole money and jewellery. Markin said that Gubarev’s evidence on the case had already been confirmed by investigative actions.

However, Roman Gubarev’s wife Irina had formerly stated that on the day of the murder his wife went to see her parents together with her.

The supposed second participator’s name has also been found out but is yet kept in secret in the interests of the investigation. ITAR-TASS reports.
