A court in Moscow arrested suspects of preparation the act of terror on December, 31

Today Basmanny court of Moscow arrested four suspects of preparation the act of terror in the capital on December, 31, 2010. 

Caucasian Knot” has already reported that it became known on January, 29, that a group of persons involved in the explosion in the territory of a shooting club in Moscow on December, 2010, was arrested by Federal Security Service of Russia in Dagestan. A young woman perished as a result. Supposedly, a home-made explosive device meant for committing an act of terror was activated. On January, 5, 2011, a woman native of Chechnya was detained in Volgograd for suspicion of being involved in this explosion.

“A preventive punishment in form of custody was selected for four persons”, Ekaterina Korotova, Press secretary of the court, said. She added that according to the judgment, Shamil Baimambetov, Timur Akubekov, Iljas Saidov and Hirulla Magomedov were arrested.

According to the materials passed on to the court, Baimambetov works as a driver and the rest figurants are unemployed, “Interfax” reports.

According to the Department of Federal Security Service of Russia in Dagestan, the woman who perished on December, 31, was the wife of Ibragimkhalil Daudov (Davudov) who is considered the leader of a group of gunmen developing their activities in Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan. A competent source in law enforcement bodies reported that that an inspection of involvement of Daudov’s group of gunmen in terror act in “Domodedovo” was in process.
