Businessman from Argentina to donate computers to children of Nagorno-Karabakh

Prime Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Ara Arutyunyan and Armenian businessman Eduardo Ernekyan from Argentina signed an agreement on implementing the programme "PC to every child" in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh".
"The international community perceives Nagorno-Karabakh only as a t

rritory, where there is a military conflict. Many people forget about children in this country. However, these children have the right to learn and be informed. Our programme aims to ensure obtaining of high-quality knowledge by these children, as offered by the modern world," the businessman said.

In its turn, to have the programme successful, the government of the republic has undertaken to supply the Internet to all Karabakh schools.

The educational programme "PC to every child" was designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is aimed at equipping pupils from developing countries with modern computers stuffed with advanced educational programmes.
