Explosion in Khasavyurt is qualified as an act of terror
The power of the explosion that took place in the evening of January, 26, in the town of Khasavyurt (Dagestan) by preliminary estimation of the experts made 30 kilogram trotyl equivalent. The explosion is qualified as an act of terror.
It should be reminded that the explosion happened in the suburbs of Khasavyurt, near "Caravan" café, at about 22:00 Moscow time, January, 26. Seven people got injured as a result, three more persons died on-site. One of the seven injured died in hospital.
A source in law enforcement bodies of Khasavyurt said that the lost and injured people were generally the personnel and visitors of the café, RIA "Novosti" reports.
The Investigative department of Prosecutor's committee of inquiry of the Russian Federation in Dagestan has started criminal proceedings according to four clauses of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation, "act of terror" among them, "Interfax" reports.
