Georgian authorities continue evicting refugees
Forced resettlers from Abkhazia and South Ossetia have been evicted from several more buildings in Tbilisi. Tomorrow, on January 22, refugees plan to hold a protest march from the parliament to the residence of the president.
Today, Georgian policemen evicted refugees out of the former building of the executive bureau, block No. 34 in Kipshidze Street in central Tbilisi, and from the former hostel of the Medical University. No incidents were registered, according to the "Rosbalt".
A protest action was held in front of the parliament of Georgia in support of forced resettlers, during which Lasha Chkhartishvili, one of the leaders of the Conservative Party, stated that on January 22 the refugees, accommodated in Tbilisi, would hold a protest march from the parliament to the residence of the president of the republic, the "GHN" reports.
