Ukraine agrees to give one figurant of Kuschevskaya massacre case out to Russia

The Ukrainian authorities have satisfied Russia's request to extradite Vyacheslav Ryabtsev, one of the suspects of the murder of 12 persons committed in the village of Kuschevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, in November 2010. As reported by the official website of the Russian General Prosecutor's Office, now the date of Ryabtsev's extradition to Russia is agreed on.

Earlier Ukrainian authorities had refused to grant political asylum to Vladimir Alexeev and Vyacheslav Ryabtsev, who were detained in the Zaporozhye Region of Ukraine. Both suspects are accused of massacre in Kuschevskaya as members of Sergey Tsapok's gang.

Vyacheslav Ryabtsev is suspected of committing a crime stipulated by the article of the Criminal Code dealing with "murder, that is, intentional infliction of death, to two or more persons, including minors, committed by a group of persons by previous concert."
