19 participants of action in memory of Sviridov detained in Moscow

Moscow militiamen detained 19 participants of the commemoration rally of Yegor Sviridov, the murdered fan of the "Spartak" Football Club, to identify them and clarify their involvement in the unrest in Manege Square on December 11.

The action marked 40 days after Yegor's death in a fight with the natives of the Caucasus. In general, as the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports, the action passed peacefully.

Militiamen gathered the citizens who came to the action at the bus circle near the metro. Two police helicopters, one after the other, were all the time low above the crowd making video filming by means of their external cameras.

In total, about 300 persons, many law enforcers and Russian and foreign media people gathered in the venue.

Columns of the participants were repeatedly stopped by the militia and passed through the checkpoints, where they were examined by law enforcers.
