"Caucasian Knot" correspondent was not admitted to meeting with Khloponin in Stavropol

Elena Khrustalyova, a special correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot", who had been invited to the meeting with Alexander Khloponin, Russian President's Plenipotentiary in the NCFD (North-Caucasian Federal District), and was sent for this purpose from Moscow to Stavropol, was not allowed to be present at the event.

Moreover, militiamen detained her and asked to follow them to the police station for identification, since her passport seemed invalid to them; however, they refused to explain why they had thought so.

It was reported earlier that today in Stavropol Mr Khloponin will hold a "hot line" interview with residents of his district. The event was initiated by the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda".
