Second assailant on militiamen in Dagestan liquidated
In the course of a special operation in central Makhachkala, power agents of Dagestan killed the second attacker on militiamen.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today in Makhachkala unidentified persons opened fire at militiamen. One of them was shot dead, another one wounded. As a result of the chase one of the attackers was killed.
"The militants were blocked in garages between Mira and Aziz Aliev Street. In the course of a long skirmish power agents managed to liquidate them. At present, the venue is examined by explosion experts, then, an operative-investigatory group will replace them. The casualties are being identified," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the spokesman of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC).
The NAC has also reported that at 5:00 p.m. Moscow time the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in Makhachkala, the "Rosbalt" writes.
