Krasnenkov: Kadyrov may fail to attend litigation vs. Orlov because of preoccupation

Ramzan Kadyrov had expressed his intention to speak at the criminal trial of Oleg Orlov, head of the HRC "Memorial", but it may happen that he will not manage to do it because of his extremely high occupation, said Andrei Krasnenkov, legal representative of the head of Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Prosecutor's Office had summoned the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov as a victim to the court session scheduled on February 8 at 11:00 a.m.

Mr Kadyrov's representative told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he would contact Ramzan Kadyrov today by phone and inform him about the court's invitation to the session on February 8.

Mr Krasnenkov has also noted that in the coming days Ramzan Kadyrov is unlikely to give an answer whether he would appear at the court on February 8, because he is very busy. Therefore, as Krasnenkov said, most likely he will discuss this issue with his client directly on the eve of the court session.
