In Sochi, public activist Valery Suchkov was hospitalized with traumas

Valery Suchkov, a member of the Sochi City Planning Council and an active public figure, was hospitalized with traumas. He was told that he was hit by a car. Suchkov himself believes that he was a victim of an intentional attack.

The victim himself told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on January 7 an identified person called to his mobile phone and asked Valery Suchkov to promptly go out to have a talk and receive some important documents. According to Valery, he went down, as the person asked, from his house in Khosta to the road.

Then, he regained conscience already in the traumatology department of the city hospital No. 4. He was explained there that he had been hit down by a car. According to his story, he has a heavily torn lip and damaged arm and leg; he has headache and possible brain concussion. It was hard for him to speak, since his lip was sutured. Because of the holidays, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent could not talk to his doctor.

Valery Suchkov assumes that he was attacked because of his active social work, in particular, criticism of Sochi bureaucrats.
