Ingushetia: kidnapped Adam Khamkhoev returns home and reports torture
Adam Khamkhoev, a resident of the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya, who was kidnapped on December 30 together with the other two young persons - Pliev brothers - was released on January 3. His father Musa Khamkhoev asks the republic's public prosecutor to investigate the case, claiming that his son was tortured by power agents.
This is narrated in Musa's statement posted on the blog of Magomed Mutsolgov run at the portal of the "Caucasian Knot".
Adam was thrown out of a car - in beaten condition - in the outskirts of Ordzhonikidzevskaya; he argues that all these days he was beaten and tortured. As noted by his father, it is "clear, if you look at his body." They demanded from him to sign the crimes he had never committed, or to slander his elder brother Anzor.
Musa Khamkhoev writes that Adam's kidnappers robbed him: they stole the driver's license of his elder brother, the car registration certificate, money and keys from the house.
The father asks the Public Prosecutor of Ingushetia Turygin, Yu. N., and Mogushkov, I. Sh., head of the Investigatory Department for Ingushetia of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia to help to defend his son's constitutional rights, as well as bring the persons who had kidnapped and tortured Adam to criminal responsibility.
So far, law enforcement agencies of Ingushetia gave no comments on the information about kidnapping and beating the young persons.
