Identity of the man whose remains were found in a burial place near Vedeno, Chechnya, established

The personality of one of the four participants of armed underground whose remains were found on the New Year's Eve in the mountains of Chechnya has been identified. This is a twenty-two-year-old native of the district center of Vedeno. Law enforcement bodies are continuing an inspection on the fact.

We will remind that the burial place of four people was found on December, 30, in the mountain district of Vedeno. The enforcement bodies consider that these are the remains of the gunmen killed on September, 26, as a result of an armed confrontation. An officer of law enforcement bodies was wounded then in a skirmish with participants of armed underground.

"Forensic medical examination of the remains of four supposed gangsters whose burial place was found in the forest massif near the village of Zurikh, Vedeno district, was effective. One of the murdered gunmen was identified. This was a twenty-two-year-old native of the district center of Vedeno who had had an alias of "Salakh" among gangsters. Activities in this direction are going on", a source in the republican law enforcement bodies said to a reporter of "Caucasian Knot".

It should be mentioned that on January, 3, the burial place of one of the well-known field commanders, Ahmed Avdorkhanov, who had formerly headed the president's guard of Aslan Maskhadov killed in September, 2005, was found. The members of power ministries got the information of Avdorkhanov's burial place from a convicted participant of armed underground.
