Over 15 residents of tent camps in Ingushetia reportedly detained

At midnight of November 16-17, republican law-enforcement agents detained over 15 Chechen refugees in tent camps in Ingushetia.

Over 15 young men were detained during a night raid in several camps, namely "Sputnik", "Satsita" and "Alina" in the Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, reported the locals.

The refugees themselves connect the raids by law-enforcement agents with the recent tragic occurrence in the Ingush village of Troitskaya when five Ingush OMON (special tasks platoon) fighters were killed as a result of an explosion.

The Sunzha district's police department verified that raids were conducted on November 16 and 17 to reveal and detain persons suspected of their belonging to illegal armed units on the territory of Chechnya and Ingushetia.
