Three cases initiated after check of elections to Rostov-on-Don Duma

The Investigatory Committee for the Rostov Region has initiated three criminal cases on facts of falsifying election documents at elections to the Rostov-on-Don City Duma on October 9, said the Committee's spokesman.

According to his story, the cases were opened on violations at one polling station in the Sovietskiy District of the city and two stations in the Voroshilov District. In all three cases part of ballot papers had a handmade mark next to the name of one of the candidates made well before the voting.

Currently, a preliminary investigation is underway, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
