Expert of "Yeni Musavat" newspaper to be under arrest
On November 3, the Nasiminsky District Court pronounced judgment to hold in custody Eldar Tagiev, an expert of the "Yeni Musavat" newspaper. He was arrested on October 31 not as a participant in the well-known events but as a "suspect person". His lawyer tried to use the inadvertence of the police at once and demanded that his client be released in 48 hours. But on November 3 the Court decided on the guilt and implication. Articles 223 and 315 of the Armenian Criminal Code applied to Eldar Tagiev prescribe a 3-month special isolation ward regimen for him.
