Militiaman shot dead in Dagestan
As a result of shelling the RPS (road-post service) post located at the northern exit from the capital of Dagestan a militiaman was killed.
The incident happened at about 2:10 a.m. Moscow time. The militiaman was shot dead in his breast.
"It's possible that the post was shelled by a sniper. The circumstances are now studied," a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan told the "Interfax" Agency.
News about attacks on law enforcers arrive from Dagestan on a regular basis. Thus, in the evening on June 13 an unidentified person opened fire in the city of Khasavyurt. A militiaman was killed, and two occasional passers-by received heavy wounds.
