Vaan Badasian: "Armenia should be a guarantor of Nagorny Karabakh"
The proposal of Armen Rustamian, Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, to change a modus of negotiations for the Karabakh settlement is under discussion in Nagorny Karabakh.
Vaan Badasian, a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation "Dashnaktsutyun" in Nagorny Karabakh, gave his opinion in an interview to the Karabakh "Azat Artsakh" newspaper. He is convinced the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is an issue of Azerbaijan and Nagorny Karabakh, the two states that were formed on the territory of Soviet Azerbaijan after the disintegration of the USSR in accordance with international law standards.
In Badasian's opinion, Armenia should be a guarantor of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic during the negotiations.
