50 thousand Chechen refugees stay in Ingushetia

54 thousand refugees stay on the territory of Ingushetia, 50 thousand of them being displaced persons from Chechnya. Ingush President Murad Zyazikov reported it to Vladimir Putin.

The head of the state took an interest in a situation in the republic, in particular, in problems of refugees, as well as in a situation in the Northern Caucasus as a whole.

The President of Ingushetia noted the people were ready to return to the places of their permanent residence as soon as accommodation was prepared. He also underlined that the rate of compensation payments for lost dwelling were of great importance for it.

  • Khamzat Kadyrov confirms drone attack on Chechnya

    Secretary of the Chechen Security Council Khamzat Kadyrov has posted on a social networking service a video of the destruction of a drone. The Chechen official has also added that all the drones launched today to attack the republic had been shot down.
