Peaceful residents suffer from explosions in Makhachkala

Tonight in Makhachkala, in the Imam Shamil Avenue, two explosions were triggered one after another. Several persons were wounded; one man lost his legs torn off by the explosion, as the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the place of the incident.

The first explosion happened near No. 10 in the Shamil Avenue at about 9:15 p.m.; the second one followed 30 minutes later.

The first explosion was so powerful that damages several cars parked near the nearby houses. At this time of the day many people are here, since popular restaurants "Viking" and "Bohemia" are practically in the epicentre of the explosion. When squads of policemen began arriving to the place of the incident, the second explosive was triggered.

One of the residents of the house located near the first explosion said that his neighbour was injured by a bolt - most likely, the explosive was stuffed with such bolts.
