Nalchik: power agents search absconding Astemirov's accomplice

Under the latest data, Anzor Astemirov, leader of the armed underground of Kabardino-Balkaria, who was liquidated on March 24, was accompanied by an accomplice who was wounded but managed to abscond from power agents.

The "Caucasian Knot" reports that on March 24 in Nalchik employees of law enforcement bodies saw a suspicious man. When they asked his documents, he opened fire, and was killed by the response one. An FSB agent was wounded. By his fingerprints the casualty was identified as Anzor Astemirov, who was in international search on charges of terrorism. Later, the information about Astemirov's murder was confirmed both by MIA bosses and militants in one of their website.

Now, law enforcers are searching his accomplice, reports the "Interfax".

Channel One television has reported that FSB agents got on Astemirov's trail after one of his aides was liquidated.

Let us note here that earlier power agencies of Northern Caucasus had more than once announced Astemirov as liquidated. However, later this information was refuted.
