In Nagorno-Karabakh, experts are concerned about Erdogan's statement on possible deportation of Armenian illegal migrants from Turkey

In Nagorno-Karabakh, the representatives of the public have negatively responded to the statements made the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan concerning the deportation of the Armenian migrants staying illegally in Turkey, however, according to Gaguik Avanesyan, the Karabakh movement activist, these statements will not hamper the process aimed at normalizing the Armenian-Georgian relations. Political scientist Manvel Sarkisyan supports this opinion. Manvel Sarkisyan supports this opinion.

I do not think the Armenian-Turkish protocols will fail even with the statements made by Erdogan concerning the possibility or the deportation of the Armenians from Turkey," said Gagik Avanesyan to the "Caucasian Knot".

Gagik Avanesyan believes that the ratification of the Armenian Turkish protocols has become more probable as "Erdogan provoked the Turkish opposition to support the normalization of relations with Armenia."

"The reaction to whether Obama will pronounce the word "genocide on April 24 will not be so nervous in Turkey as recently Erdogan has made his people to become accustomed to this term pronounced it himself and made them recall their history though by means of negation," believes Avanesyan.

Political scientist Manvel Sarkisyan believes that "if the Turkish Prime Minister recalls the illegal Armenian migrants, he probable has a well-thought-out plan."

According to the experts, if the Turkish Intelligentsia calls for recognizing the 1915 genocide, they believe that the actions of the Turkish leaders is based on the self-assessment that does not correspond to the current realities. "Undoubtedly the Turkish intelligentsia believes that the real threats are caused by the actions of its political elite rather than by the events surrounding their country," believes the political scientist.

It should be noted that on March 20, the Turkish Prime Minister stated that he was not going to immediately implement the treat concerning the deportation of illegal Armenian migrants staying in Turkey." Besides he said that his statement concerning the deportation of the Armenians had been distorted. The statement made in London was aimed at drawing the attention of the world community to the illegal Armenian migrant staying in Turkey and the Turkish Government's humane approach to this fact, said Tayyip Recep Erdogan in Turkey on March, 20, speaking in Istanbul at the meeting with the Turkish art workers.
