Radio Liberty is available in Nagorno-Karabakh

A private radio company named "Radioeye" has provided its frequency for Radio Liberty's broadcasting in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"Radio Liberty is available for listeners from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. every day, except for Sunday. I hope Karabakh will listen to it with interest, same as Armenia, where it is very popular," said Andreas Gukasyan, a political analyst and owner of the "Radioeye".

Thanks to cooperation with one of Karabakh-based media companies - "Mix Media", - the private radio station of the Republic of Armenia "Radioeye" was granted a license to open broadcasting in Nagorno-Karabakh at the frequency of 105.5 FM and was registered as a national radio.

"Apart from Yerevan, we have licenses to broadcast in 21 cities of Armenia. As to Karabakh, it's just the beginning. Shortly, we plan to expand the coverage over the whole region, keeping in mind that remote areas suffer from information deficiency," said Mr Gukasyan.

He believes that "Radioeye" broadcasts in Karabakh will enrich the information environment, make it more diversified, and lift the freedom of speech to a new level."
