Wages started to be paid to builders on strike in Sochi
The prosecutor's office of Krasnodar Territory has enforced payment of outstanding wages to the builders of Olympic facilities in Sochi, reports Marina Gridneva, official representative of RF General Prosecutor's Office.
According to Gridneva, the prosecutor's offices have conducted a number of checks on the facts of non-payment of wages to the workers who build dwelling houses in Sochi.
"As of March 17, upon the request of prosecutors, the workers of building organizations have been paid more than 1.2 million roubles," says Gridneva.
The RF General Prosecutor's Office representative notes that the situation with payment of wages to workers at the Sochi Olympic facilities is under special monitoring of the federal agency, reports the "Gazeta.Ru" agency.
Administrative cases and one criminal case have been initiated against heads of building organizations who are guilty of non-payment of wages, a number of lawsuits on non-payment of wages have been filed, reports the "Pravo.ru" agency.
