Owners of Chechen forum report a powerful hacker's attack

A powerful hacker's DDoS attack on the Chechen forum named "Adamalla.com" and opened in Europe lasted for several days. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by an E-mail sent by the administration of the website.

The attack on the website was launched a day or two after publication of an article where the forum was mentioned. According to the owners, for several days the whole team of the "Adamalla" struggled with the hackers, who tried to ruin the website.

Indeed, for a certain time users complained that they could not get to the pages of the forum and leave their messages.

"Fortunately, the resource of the website is so powerful that access can be hampered for a short while only," the owners of the portal state in their message.

The administration believes that the website was attacked by the authorities of Chechnya with the aim not to admit the growth of popularity of the "island of free press in the Internet."

The Ministry of Press of Chechnya refused to give any comments on the issue to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent saying that they would not like to take part in "promoting and contributing to PR of the 'Adamalla.com'."
