Next session on "Caucasian One" case to be held in a month
The Arbitration Court of Paris has appointed on March 22 the next stage of consideration of the case dealing with disconnection by the French TV operator Eutelsat of the Georgian Russian-language TV channel "Caucasian One", where the parties will present their final arguments.
The suit was considered in accelerated order at the hearing in early February, but the decision on the merits was to be passed by another judge. The main problem was in the contract on rendering services: according to the Georgian party, the contract exists and is valid, while the French party asserts the opposite.
Today, same as on March 22, the parties did not and will not publicly present any documents, the "Georgia Today" Agency reports.
From January 5 on, the "Caucasian One" broadcasts on the Internet, and since January 15 it went to satellite. The Georgian party claims to cover the facts, which, allegedly, remain uncovered by other Russian-language channels.
