MCC reappoints consideration of complaint of the person acquitted on attempt on Chechen President on February 26
Today, the Moscow City Court (MCC) has delayed the consideration of the rehabilitation claim lodged by Ruslan Musaev, one of the acquitted figurants in the case on the attempt on President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov committed back in May 2007.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31, 2009, MCC jurymen acquitted two persons accused of preparing an attempt on President of Chechnya - Ruslan Musaev and Umar Batukaev - having found the third figurant - Lors Khamiev - guilty. Ruslan Musaev has brought an action asking to compensate the damage, caused to him in the course of criminal prosecution.
The new date of the judicial hearing was announced by the court, as "The Moscow Post" writes.
According to Shamil Arifulin, Musaev's advocate, the consideration of the suit will take place on February 26. "The hearing was delayed because the court has failed to receive the necessary documents from the SIZO, where Musaev was kept," the "Gazeta.Ru" quotes the advocate as saying.
