In Sochi, militiaman knocks two women down to death

A criminal case has been initiated against an operative agent of Sochi UVD (Interior Department), who committed a road accident on February 6, as a result of which two elderly women were lost.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that on February 4 inspectors initiated a criminal case against another militiaman, who on January 30 knocked down three girls on the pedestrian crossing in Novotitorovskaya village, Krasnodar Territory.

The accident in Sochi happened on February 6, 2010, at about 6:40 in the area where the Morskoy Passage crosses the Kurortny Avenue, in the non-regulated (having no traffic lights) pedestrian crossing. The militiaman, driving a Toyota Avensis, ran into two women, born in 1939 and 1951.

They were crossing the street along the pedestrian crossing walking to the nearby temple. After the knock, the car dragged the bodies along for about 20 meters, the "Yuga.Ru" reports.
