Charges dismissed from one more figurant in Khlebnikov's murder case

The Russian ICPO has dismissed charges from Magomed Edilsultanov, a defendant in the case on the murders of the editor-in-chief of the Russian Forbes Paul Khlebnikov and former vice-premier of Chechnya Yan Sergunin.

Edilsultanov was in search since 2005. As reported by a source in law enforcement bodies, he came by himself to the ICPO, and after interrogation was let free. The earlier charges moved in absentia are now dismissed, as the version of his involvement in the above resonant murders was not confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that last December of the last year accusations of Khlebnikov's murder were dismissed from Marat Valeev. He was detained in August 2009 in the Abkhazian border and transported to Moscow. Now Valeev is at large.

Presently, Magomed and Kazbek Dukuzov are in search on "Khlebnikov's case", as well as Khozh-Ahmed Nukhaev, whom inspectors call the customer of the journalist's murder. He is also suspected of organizing the murder of Anna Politkovskaya, observer of the "Novaya Gazeta". In the near future this fact may find its remedial embodiment, as the "Rosbalt" writes.
