Convicts for bribe in the first case of "Neva-Express" train appeal against the verdict
Tomorrow, on January 26, the cassation complaint, lodged by the convicts for a bribe in the case of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train in 2007, where they declare their innocence, will be considered.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 24, 2009, the Novgorod City Court sentenced Salambek Dzhakhkiev, a resident of Ingushetia, accused of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train, to two years and four months of imprisonment in a minimum security colony, and his defender - Moscow lawyer Magomed Razakov - to two years and two months in a same security colony for an attempt to bribe inspector Nikolai Uschapovskiy.
The spokesman of the press service of the Novgorod Regional Court said that they received cassations from Dzhakhkiev and Razakov; besides, the latter's advocates have notified the Court that they would present their motivated complaints directly at the session of the panel on criminal cases, which plans to start its session at 10:00 a.m. on January 26, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
