North Ossetia starts projects in support of vulnerable children
The Ministry of Labour and Social Development of North Ossetia has taken part in the contest of the Fund in Support of Vulnerable Children. The republic has won four out of seven programmes put to the contest. As reported by Zhanna Gasieva, deputy minister of labour and social development of the republic, this year, North Ossetia will receive more than 30 million roubles on implementation of programmes.
One of the programmes to be launched quite soon in the republic has the name "Sun House". It will last for three years and assumes social support to families with children-invalids, assistance in employment of the parents who rear children-invalids, including the families, where both parent or the sole parent are jobless, and creation conditions promoting actualization of family potentials through assistance in training, retraining and employment of parents.
Another winner programme - "Open World" - will contribute to social integration of children-invalids into the environment of the healthy peers.
One more winner programme - "New Family" - assumes activities of selecting, preparation, accompaniment and support of adopting families, and formation of conscious attitude of citizens to adoption of a child.
The aim of the programme "Early Intervention and Prophylaxis of Social Orphanage" will assume early prophylaxis of family troubles and social orphanage, reduction of case of deprivation of parental rights and restoration of children-favourable family environment.
