Ruslan Musaev, who was acquitted on the criminal case dealing with his preparations in May 2007 in Moscow to attack President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, has lodged a rehabilitation claim to the Moscow City Court. This was reported today by Anna Usachova, head of the press service of the Moscow City Court.
The "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier that on March 31, 2009, the jurymen of the Moscow City Court acquitted two suspects accused of preparing an attempt on President of Chechnya - Ruslan Musaev and Umar Batukaev, having found the third figurant in the case - Lors Khamiev - guilty.
Now, Ruslan Musaev has brought a claim on indemnification of the damage caused to him in the course of criminal prosecution, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
By means of the rehabilitation procedure, Ruslan Musaev asks to compensate his expenses on nutrition, medicines and lawyer's services during his criminal prosecution, as the "BaltInfo" reports.
