By 2012, Chechnya will create 3000 new jobs
The authorities of the Chechen Republic plan to rebuild 13 major industrial enterprises by 2012, which will allow, under their forecasts, to employ about three thousand persons.
"By 2012, the republic will re-launch the 'Sintar' radio factory in Grozny, the 'Pischemash' factory in the city of Argun, the 'Automatstroy' experimental factory and medical tools factory in the city of Gudermes, the woodworking combine in Alkhan-Kala settlement and others," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Ministry of Construction of the republic.
Prior to the start of warfare, dozens of enterprises in the oil, gas and building industries operated in the territory of the Chechen Republic. Practically all of them were destroyed completely or partially in the course of two military campaigns.
Unemployment is among major problems in Chechnya, and it would not go down essentially, although the republic tries to boost agriculture, industry and construction, and opens new objects practically on the everyday basis.
