Trial in Dubai on Sulim Yamadaev's attempt to resume in January
The next session of the court on the case dealing with the attempt on Hero of Russia Sulim Yamadaev committed in March in Dubai will take place on January 7, 2010. This was stated by Andrei Nesterenko, official spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 27 it became known that the Moscow Regional Military Court had completely acquitted resident of Chechnya Aslan Diliev, accused of murdering criminal boss Mustafa Shidaev. The Yamadaev family believes that Diliev had to do with the murder of the eldest Yamadaev brother - Ruslan.
As reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a member of Yamadaev clan, in his opinion, the acquittal of Diliev, Ramzan Kadyrov's adviser and former servicemen of the "Vostok" special-purpose battalion of the GRU, was backed up by Chechen authorities.
