Consideration of Kadyrov's claim to "Novaya Gazeta" postponed till February 2
The today's consideration of the claim on defence of honour and dignity of President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov against "Novaya Gazeta" was cancelled.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the reason of Kadyrov's claim was his discontent with six articles of the edition, which he found to be discrediting and false. The claimant demands from the "Novaya Gazeta" to publish a refutation of these articles, and payment of moral compensation in the sum of 865,600 roubles, that is, one rouble for every copy of the newspaper, and also 100,000 roubles - from the author of four publications.
According to Andrei Krasnenkov, Kadyrov's advocate, the hearing of case was reappointment on February 2 because of the judge's illness, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
