Pilgrims from Kabardino-Balkaria are happy with organization of hadj

The pilgrims, who made their hadj to the sacred places in Saudi Arabia, have returned to Kabardino-Balkaria. Amerbi Gegraev, head of the group, which went to Mecca by bus, said that the hadj was held at a high level, practically without any problems.

According to his story, the pilgrims managed to administer all the necessary ceremonies. They visited Medina and Ikhram, spent a night in the tent camp in Mina and visited Arafa.

The pilgrims spent seven days in the trip. Under safety requirements the bus was not equipped with beds; therefore, for the whole way the passengers were sitting; however nobody was tired, people were rather vigorous.

This year, a bit more than 200 pilgrims went to make their hadj from Kabardino-Balkaria, although the quota for this republic, as distributed by the Board of Hadj at the Russian Spiritual Department of Moslems (SDM), makes 700 persons.
