Karachai-Circassian drugstores have violations in drug storage, the prosecutor's office asserts
The check conducted by the prosecutor's office of Karachai-Circassia jointly with the local department of the Federal Service for Supervising Public Health and Social Development revealed violations by chemist's entities of the Federal Law "On Pharmaceuticals".
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the press service of the prosecutor's office that the check covered 85 drugstores.
Thus, a number of drugstores failed to run daily microclimate control in the rooms where medicinal products were stored with mandatory registering in a special logbook. No laboratory microbiological assaying was made, while biologically active additives were sold without documents confirming their quality and safety.
"As aftermath of the check, administrative cases were opened against a number of officials and sent for consideration to the local department of 'Rospotrebnadzor' (Federal Consumer Supervision Agency) for Karachai-Circassia," said the press service.
