President of Dagestan: court decision to nullify Derbent elections to be appealed against

President of Dagestan Mukhu Aliev said that the decision of the Derbent City Court to recognize the election results of the city Mayor null and void will be considered by higher judicial instances.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 3 Judge of the City Court of Derbent Dzhanbulat Gadzhiev ruled  to nullify the election protocols of all the electoral commissions of the city and the final protocol of the territorial electoral commission of Derbent, having thus satisfied the claims of the candidates to the position of the head of Derbent Kizimov, Ramazanov and Yaraliev on cancellation of the voting results, since more than a third of the polling stations were kept closed on the voting day.

According to Mr Aliev, the decision of court was adopted without one of the parties - not a single representative of the Derbent territorial electoral commission was present at the trial, and not a single document of this commission was considered by the judge, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
