Public reception office on legal issues opened in Vladikavkaz
On December 1, the capital of Northern Ossetia starts a public reception office, intended to render free-of-charge legal aid and organized by law students.
The reception office is located in the ground floor of the Legal Department of the North-Ossetian State University (SOSU) in the Butyrina Street in Vladikavkaz. The public reception office is the fruit of joint efforts of the North-Ossetian Branch of the Russian Bar, headed by Stanislav Kesaev, Youth Parliament of the republic and SOSU bosses.
It became known to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that more than 60 students of senior years of the Legal Department have expressed their desire to work for the reception office. It is supposed that similar reception offices will be opened also in eight regional centres.
The reception office will work daily from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The main attention will be given to the youth, needy citizens and pensioners - the categories of the population unable to pay for lawyers' services.
