Azerbaijan to take part in "Eurovision-2010"

Participation of Azerbaijan in the contest "Eurovision-2010" is officially confirmed, as reported by Adil Kerimli, chairman of the Azerbaijani delegation to the "Eurovision" contest.

According to Mr Kerimli, on November 26, the organizer of the contest - the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) - sent an official letter to Azerbaijan. "The full list of countries will be presented to us in the first decade of December. The list will also specify precisely how many countries will take part in the contest "Eurovision-2010", the chairman of the delegation has added.

As reported by Adil Kerimli, now the selection of the Azerbaijani participant in the contest is underway, the "APA" reports.

At the same time, the EBU emphasizes in its statement that it will not admit any violations of the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest, and, in particular, any political interference into the regulations. as reported by the "Azadlyg" Radio Station.

The "Eurovision-2010" will take place next May in the capital of Norway - the city of Oslo. The semi-finals are appointed on May 25 and 27, and the final - on May 29.
