Facts of drug overpricing revealed in Karachai-Circassia
The local prosecutor's office made another audit of the chemist's network and revealed facts of deliberate overpricing of drugs in Karachai-Circassia.
"The bodies of the republic's prosecutor's office have conducted a check, together with experts of the local department of 'Roszdravnadzor' (Federal Agency for Public Health Supervision) and the Chief Department of Karachai-Circassia for Tariffs and Prices, of observance of the legislation on pricing medical products. Special attention was given to pricing of anti-flu preparations," the press service of the republic's prosecutor's office reports.
As a whole, the state regulations on pricing medical goods are observed. "The wholesale and retail prices on such drugs like arbidol and interferon went up, since the manufacturer did it; however, the trade extra charges are within the admissible limits," the prosecutor's office reports.
They told there that the republic revealed one fact of overpricing the admissible ceiling trade extra charge in the drugstore located in Elburgan village, the Abasin District.
