Among versions of militiamen's murder in Kabardino-Balkaria is extremists' response to article "Shura Decapitated"

Inspectors consider several versions of the death of two law enforcers in the city of Chegem, Kabardino-Balkaria, whose decapitated bodies were found yesterday in the luggage compartment of the car left in the roadside. Among the versions - an answer of the militants to an article published in a local newspapers about liquidation of the leaders of the republic's extremist underground - Shura.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that decapitated bodies of two persons were found on November 23 at 9:15 p.m. in Chegem, in the luggage compartment of a Mercedes parked in the Naberezhnaya Street.

Anzor Tlepshev, head of the Chegem Inter-District Investigatory Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the ICPO, said that among the versions of the murder is the death of the law enforcers from the hands of the members of the extremist underground.

"After a publication in one of republic's newspapers about liquidation of the heads of the local Shura - the board of the extremist underground - entitled 'Shura Decapitated', extremists said that they would decapitate law enforcers. Therefore, this version is not excluded," the "Interfax" quotes Mr Tlepshev as saying.

He has added that the casualties were friends - Murat Dokshukin, 26, inspector of the Service of Court Marshals, and Albert Shebzukhov, 27, an inspector at the Baksan ROVD.

Anzor Tlepshev assumes: "They, probably, just happened to get into criminals' way and were first shot dead, and then decapitated."

However, since extremists have not yet announced their responsibility for this double murder, the investigation also considers other versions.
