Karastelyov: militia pursues Major Dymovskiy's supporters

Law enforcement bodies are exerting pressure on the people supporting Militia Major Alexei Dymovskiy, who had made public illegal actions of Novorossisk militia bosses. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about by Vadim Karastelyov, expert of the Novorossisk Committee on Human Rights.

"On November 11, a Novorossisk pensioner Tatiana Mironova submitted a notification on holding a picket in support of Major Dymovskiy to the city administration. The picket is planned for Saturday, November 14. According to the law, the administration was to give an answer on that very day. However, no answer was given; and today we submit a respective compliant to the prosecutor's office," said Mr Karastelyov.

He has added that militiamen tried to exert pressure on Tatiana Mironova: they tried to entice her into their division for taking certain explanations. "It's illegal, because notification about a picket needs no conversations with militiamen and giving explanations. Mironova refused to do it; and today we'll try to coordinate our picket," Vadim Karastelyov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Yesterday, on November 11, Vadim Karastelyov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about his plans to "evacuate his family", as local militia undertakes illegal attempts to attract his son "to some responsibility, about which we know nothing."
