Turkish company to build stadium in the capital of South Ossetia
Without permit of Georgian authorities, a Turkish building company starts rebuilding the destroyed stadium in Tskhinvali. The works are funded by the Alisher Usmanov's Foundation.
The Turkish building company "Prodini" will be directly engaged in construction works; it is ready to present the final design plan within the nearest 10 days. At present, the territory of the stadium is cleared for the construction, as reported by the "Osinform" Ossetian edition.
Georgian conflictology experts believe that in this case the authorities of Turkey will not be able to influence the company, as it is private, not state-owned. In the opinion of Mamuka Areshidze, the Georgian party will probably "announce the company persona non grata," however, it is very difficult to control private companies, as the "Georgia Online" reports.
