Shop owner assassinated by unidentified persons in Ingushetia

As reported by a source from the Investigatory Department for Ingushetia of the Russian ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office), on October 22 in the village of Plievo unidentified persons shot dead a lady who owned a small shop, where alcohol was sold.

Let us note here that in Ingushetia attacks on shops, trading facilities and caf?s, selling strong beverages are quite frequent. Many local residents tend to believe that these attacks are religious-motivated, since Islam categorically forbids sale and use alcohol.

"At about 11:00 p.m. Moscow time in Plievo village unidentified persons used their firearms to kill a woman-entrepreneur, who owned a small shop located in one of the rooms of her house and sold everyday goods, said the ICPO source.

The "Gazeta.Ru" writes with reference to the source that now the circumstances of the incident are studied and opening a criminal case is considered. It has become known that the casualty was selling strong drinks from her home shop, which could provoke her murder.
