Mikhalchenko: frauds with voters' lists were committed at elections in Nazran
While the leader of the Ingush opposition Magomed Khazbiev tried to find out at his 72nd polling station in Nazran why some other people had voted for his family, the employees of the precinct amended the voters' list, having made a forgery in the eyes of journalists. Lydia Mikhalchenko, editor of the website "ingushetiyaru.org", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.
"The polling station No. 72, located in the Philharmonic Society of Nazran, was empty on the voting day, on October 11. When we came there, many employees of the local commission, having seen a photo camera, ran away; and on the second time, when we arrived there with the film crew of the REN TV Channel, everybody tried to hide," said Ms Mikhalchenko.
"The securities of the station behaved normally, but when the chair of the commission saw Magomed Khazbiev, his brothers and parents, she grasped the lists and went away. It is recorded by my video. There is a record, where the chair goes and cries to someone: 'Call militaries!' I immediately told Magomed about it and he answered: 'Let them call, I'm a military myself.' Then these women from the commission tried to hide their eyes, refusing to admit that they just hid the lists with the marks that someone had already voted instead of Magomed's family. But we saw the lists with our own eyes, and I even managed to photograph these papers," Lydia Mikhalchenko said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
