Protest actions in Grozny are planned to be held on eve of presidential elections

A mass action of protest in Grozny is planned for October 4 and 5. According to the words of the meeting organizers, the main goal of the action is to demonstrate protest against the presidential elections in Chechnya appointed for October 5. According to some data, no less than 300 people are ready to participate in the action.

The action is planned to be held on Teatralnaya Square in the center of Grozny. The organizers of the meeting have obtained information that republican security agencies received a verbal instruction not to allow the protest action.
