MIA of Dagestan: car of the inspector killed by STSI policeman was in search

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan states that the car, used by the inspector of the ICPO of Dagestan Gamzat Musaev shot dead yesterday, on September 30, by an STSI policeman, was in search. Meanwhile, the Investigatory Committee reports that their inspector not only made no attempt to disappear, but presented his documents at the road police post.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the STSI of Dagestan that the worker of the ICPO Gamzat Musaev refused to show his documents, and tried to drive away, having knocked down an STSI serviceman with his car. After that, master sergeant of the special STSI battalion of the MIA of Dagestan Fizri Aliev, having made some warning shots in the air, opened fire on the car.

A criminal case under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Manslaughter") was opened against the road policeman who killed the inspector.

Meanwhile, the ICPO has its own version of the events.

"The STSI policeman, who stopped the car, driven by inspector of the Khasavyurt Investigatory Department Gamzat Musaev, asked him to show documents; then the inspector showed him his service ID and continued his movement," said Vladimir Markin, official spokesman of the Russian ICPO.

At that moment, according to his story, "the master sergeant of the special STSI battalion of the MIA of Dagestan Fizri Aliev, who was some distance away, began shooting from his service sub-machine gun at Musaev's car. One of the shots got into his head and was fatal."
