Chechen women are picketing government buildings
For the whole week Chechen women have been picketing the complex of government buildings of the republic. The women protest against the night abductions of people that go on. In the case in question the matter concerns electricians from the villages of Makhkety and Tovzeni that were taken away in armored personnel carriers in an unknown direction over 10 days ago.
The participants of the action justify that kidnapped Sultan Elbuzdukayev, Hassan Abubarakov, and Vakha Hadayev had no relation to illegal military units. But nobody pays much attention to this fact.
