Tbilisi protests against Russian coast guard ship's patrolling of Abkhazian waters

Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has published a statement with accusations addressed to Moscow of ignoring the norms and principles of the international law in the context of the entrance of the Russian coast guard ship "Novorossisk" into Abkhazian waters area and intention to deploy more frontier guarding boats there.

"By its aggressive actions Russia continues its aggressive policy against Georgia; this time by occupying the Abkhazian sector of the internationally recognized Georgia's sea area," says the today's comment of Georgia's MFA, as the "News-Georgia" reports.

The "Georgia online" adds that the document runs that the above actions contribute to militarization of the Caucasian region and the Black Sea basin, which will inevitably cause escalation of tension and create threat to safety of the countries of this region.
